Driving Directions

From the North
Take the I-75/85 connector southbound to the State Capitol/Turner Field/MLK Drive exit (Exit 248A). Immediately bear to the right to yield onto Butler Street. Park in the second parking deck (Pete Hackney) on the right.

From the South
Take the I-75/85 connector northbound and to Fulton Street/GA Dome/GWCC exit (Exit 246). Turn right at light onto Fulton Street. Go to next street and turn left onto Hank Aaron Blvd. (formerly Capitol Avenue). Continue northward until you pass the State Capitol. Turn right onto MLK Drive, (the street immediately past the Capitol). Turn left at the next light, which is Butler Street. Park in the second parking deck (Pete Hackney) on the right.

From the East
Take I-20 westbound and exit onto Hank Aaron Blvd. (Exit 58A and formerly Capitol Avenue). Go north until you pass the State Capitol. Turn right onto MLK (the street immediately past the Capitol). Turn left at the next light, which is Butler Street. Park in the second parking deck (Pete Hackney) on the right.

From the West
Take I-20 eastbound to the Windsor/Spring Street exit (Exit 56B). Go straight through the first light and turn left at the second light which should be a one-way street to the left (Central Ave.). Go one block and turn right on Memorial Avenue. Take Memorial until you get to Hank Aaron Boulevard. (formerly Capitol Ave.). Turn left onto Capitol/Hank Aaron and go north until you pass the State Capitol. Turn right onto MLK (the street immediately past the Capitol). Turn left at the next light, which is Butler Street. Park in the second parking deck (Pete Hackney) on the right.

Using MARTA
From the Five Points station in downtown Atlanta, take the east-bound train one stop to the Georgia State University Station.

Entering the Building
You must enter the building from the front and sign in at the security desk. The Office of the State Inspector General is located in Suite 1102 of the West Tower.
