What We Do

The State of Georgia Office of the Inspector General promotes transparency and accountability in state government. OIG diligently investigates fraud, waste, abuse, and corruption in the executive branch. We work to promote effective controls, improve agency policies and procedures, and identify opportunities for efficiency. We also provide statewide oversight of sexual harassment investigations.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA – The Office of the State Inspector General has issued its report documenting various allegations and findings concerning former Office of Special Investigations (OSI) Director Joshua Waites of the Georgia Department of Revenue (DOR).

Revoked Daycare Director Indicted for Using False Identity during State Inspection

CLAYTON COUNTY – A former daycare director, Olubusola Eunice Drumgoole of Jonesboro, has been indicted by a Clayton County grand jury for falsely representing herself as another individual during an official visit conducted by the Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL).
